I need to straighten my hair, cause i asked alot of girls their opinion on my hair, and they would say i look cute with straight hair, but right now my hair is an afro, and i would like it straighten it myself to get rid of the kinks, i need ur help on how i can straighten it and keep it that way, i dont want my hair going back into an afro, please help me out, this is what my hair looks like now

the thing is brush your hair in the shower, if you think about it to form waves in the ocean, you need water, so when ur in the shower get a brush and brush your hair in sections, i do mine in sections like, ill brush my hair wet 10 x each section. then wash your hair, and then almost immediatly put on a wave cap, so you can lay the waves down, trust me this works.

put tea tree oil in your hair at night wrap in a towel when you sleep rinse it out in the morning. also you do not want to wash it every day because you are stripping the natural oils out when you do that. Be sure to use a good conditioner if you live in or near a city you can go to an ethnic hair salon or shop and buy product or also walmart has a lot of good ethnic products. good luck and if you want to relax your hair again makes sure you use ';just for me kids with no lye';. good luck

I think a low cut w/ a fade...and in the back on the left side get the outline of a star w/ a line...so it looks like ------star------...and get side burns too...if you have them shape em up if not get points...go to an ethnic shop that knows how to work w/ your hair...the results will look nice...Any one know some good designs for black men hair cuts?

How do you get waves out of black men hair.?
I guess i have good hair because me waves started by their self. I've tried scratching them out with a come. I've tried brushing my hair in opposite directions. I've tried washing them out but they want leave. I want my hair to be normal without waves. Is there anything I can do or use to remove my wavesHow do you get waves out of black men hair.?

I have normal black men hair its not long like women. I have waves all in my head. I guess i have good hair because they want leave. When i get a hair cut i try to comb and brush them out but they still be there. I have waves at the top and at the back. I've tried washing them out but they want leave. im 16 and i cut/taper line up mine and my friends hair go bout 3 or 2 on top than go to a 1 high and go from side burns up in a slow rocking motion not to high thou than low 1 and same thing but lower than use a half and do same thing itll be a lil more tricky thou cause its tha blade you get. pt1
