How to straighten a black mans hair?

I need to straighten my hair, cause i asked alot of girls their opinion on my hair, and they would say i look cute with straight hair, but right now my hair is an afro, and i would like it straighten it myself to get rid of the kinks, i need ur help on how i can straighten it and keep it that way, i dont want my hair going back into an afro, please help me out, this is what my hair looks like now

If you want it temporary straight then you'd need a flat iron or hot comb (old school). If you want it permanently straight (until it grows out) then you'll need a relaxer.How to straighten a black mans hair?

but to straighten it, get a relaxer.


the only bad thing is that it damages your hair and is a chemical..


and you'll have to keep putting it in your hair every so often.
Relaxer or a texturizer kit would give you straight hair.
